Manhattan
Aug 2004
After driving up from Washington DC to Manhattan. Dropping off the rental car in Manhattan, waiting for Robyn to come save us!
We were more than happy to get rid of the Jeep (Grand Cherokee) since we drove almost 1,400 miles in it.
Robyn, Bill and Danny. Robyn was nice enough to allow us to stay at her house while we were in Manhattan!! Thanks Robyn!
Times Square!!
"Ground Zero", where the Twin Towers once stood. There is a lot of construction going on as they prepare to build a new building the "Freedom Tower" which will be the tallest building in the world when completed.
Underground, in a subway station. I love subways! You cant tell from the picture, but the subway on the left is moving past us fast!
